Pencapaian yang cukup istimewa mengingat jumlah sebesar itu ludes dalam 40 hari. Seperti dikutip dari TechRadar, Rabu (17/11/2010), Optimus One pun mengukir rekor sebagai smartphone dengan penjualan tercepat dalam sejarah LG, dengan rata-rata terjual 25 ribu unit per hari.

Optimus One memang dijual dengan harga relatif kompetitif. Saat ini, ponsel tersebut dipasarkan di beberapa negara Eropa, Asia dan Amerika Serikat.

LG Optimus One berbeda dengan LG C900 Optimus 7Q. Keduanya beda platform. LG C900 Optimus 7Q yang rilis 18 Nopember lalu berbasis Windows Phone 7. Sedangkan Optimus One menggunakan Android OS Froyo dan dioptimasi untuk Google Mobile Services.

Ponsel berlayar sentuh HVGA TFT berukuran 3.2 inci (320 x 480 pixel) ini diperkuat oleh CPU 600 MHz (sama seperti CPU yang dimiliki oleh LG Vortex), jaringan 3G dan HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, bluetooth, kompas digital, jack audio 3.5 mm, HDMI dan DLNA support.

Sementara untuk user interface (UI), pihak LG lebih memilih UI buatan mereka sendiri. Kamera dengan resolusi 3.2 MP mampu melakukan face tracking dan smile shot disamping kemampuannya merekam video  dengan kualitas VGA (@18 fps ( frame per second).

Untuk menyimpan berbagai aplikasi dan file,  ponsel dengan nama lain LG LP 500 ini telah menyediakan kartu memory  2GB yang anda dapatkan ketika membelinya. Namun begitu andai dirasa kurang, anda dapat menambahkan microSD card hingga 32GB.
